Balch Springs police seek driver who hit fire marshal directing traffic on LBJ

Police in Balch Springs are searching for a hit-and-run driver who struck a fire marshal as he was directing traffic after a separate pileup on LBJ Freeway.
Balch Springs Fire Marshal Frank Shafer was directing northbound traffic off the highway at Lake June Road about 7 p.m. Wednesday when the driver bumped him as she was coming to a stop.
