New Clues Released in Ord Bend Bones Case

The Glenn County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday released clues on the identity of skeletal remains found Friday near the banks of the Sacramento River in Ord Bend.

A photograph was released today of the jewelry found on or near the body. The jewelry includes an anklet, bracelet, earring and seven rings.

Investigators says some of the jewelry was still attached to remains; the majority were recovered at the scene.

The skeletal remains of what appears to be a white female between the ages of 35 to 45 years. ere discovered over an embankment at the east end of the Ord Bend Park near the boat ramp.
